Having said that, today was the new student orientation. I was a peer helper last year but, this year, i went for the purpose of something MUCH GREATER (ha.ha.ha.ha.) I had to report for beeteevee! I was glad the press passes made it on time, they look great, especially because i made them. (ha.ha.ha. again) The experience was awesome! I was looking forward to weather reporting but one of the anchors suddenly showed up and so the crew decided to give him the position for tomorrow's episode. Anyway, there weren't any pretentious new kids, met a lot of amazingly nice ones, in fact! Other than that, there weren't any interesting fish (if you know what i mean), they were all kind of too bleak and young, actually. The greatest part about NSO was my reunion with my French buddies!! I saw all of them there (well i've seen most of the group during the past few days) sighhhh, i miss them all so much.

One more thing, I finally got my schedule for school. Obviously I expressed a bit of rancor for not having Mrs. G as my higher level english teacher, but, what can i do. It turns out she doesn't even teach higher level english for the Juniors, only standard level. See, what's wrong with this system is that all the excellent teachers are teaching standard level, while all the amateur (yeah, teachers can be amateur-ish), incompetent english teachers are teaching higher level ... aren't we more deserving?? Oh, how disregarded our passion is ...
Other than that, i'm pretty content with my teachers. I pretty much know them all, pleased them all, etcetc and having said that, i will hopefully do swimmingly.
Finally, i'd like to end on a brilliant note: I am so glad to be a part of history in-the -making, the filipino people have really united to pay their respects to the mother of democracy: Former President Cory Aquino.
Now, off to finish my book ..
